During the summer of 1997 my 8mm camcorder had broke so I had to revert temporarily to my old VHS camcorder, so the quality isn't that happening but hey, it is what it is! I shot this while on vacation down in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on July 12th, 1997. I had picked a very active week of severe weather as it turned out, we literally had strong and severe thunderstorms every day I was down there. No complaints from me! This particular storm triggered severe thunderstorm warnings throughout Broward and Dade Counties for hours on end. The storms carried on well into the night before finally moving off shore.
