Headed out to Downingtown, PA to check out the Harmony Hill trail system. I'd heard some mixed reviews from people over the years, but I gotta say I had a great time. Located about 45 minutes from downtown Philly, Harmony sits a couple of miles from downtown Downingtown and about 5 miles from Marsh Creek State Park. There are not a ton of trails (Trailforks says 28 miles, but I'd guess it's half that), but there is surprisingly good variety. Trails range from fast and flowy on the east side of the park to some interesting, more technical trails on the side which sits west of 322/Brandywine Creek. Those trails are a bit of a haul to get to (there's about a mile of gravel road to connect to them), but definitely worth checking out. There's a jump pit, some good tech and a really interesting gully trail which is fun and unique. Being so close to Marsh Creek with the Struble Trail as a connector, it seems like you could link both systems and do a 25 mile Downingtown Epic day...might have to make that happen on the next trip out there! • Park Here: https://goo.gl/maps/9zDTYmWf3opu8yiP8 • Stava for this ride: / strava • Trailforks: https://www.trailforks.com/region/har...
