#shorts #salmon #mustardsauce • Salmon With Mustard Sauce • Ingredients: • 6-8 oz Salmon Filet • 1 Shallot (finely diced) • 1 Tbsp Garlic (minced) • 1 Cup Chardonnay Wine • 1 Sprig of Thyme • 1/2 Cup Chicken Stock • 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream • 2-3 Tbsp Butter • 2 Tbsp Whole Grain Mustard • Chives • Olive Oil • Salt and Pepper • *Corn starch and cold water if needs thickened. • Instructions: • *Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place salmon filets on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Seasoning with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to 140 degrees internally. • *In a medium size pan on medium/low heat add 2 Tbsp of olive oil, shallots, and garlic. Sauté gently until fragrant and translucent. • *Next add wine and fresh thyme then reduce by 1/2. Add chicken stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Add heavy cream and stir into sauce. Turn off the heat and gently melt butter and mustard into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Finish with freshly chopped chive. • (NOTE: if the sauce needs to be thickened, make a corn starch slurry with 1 Tbsp of corn starch and 2 Tbsp of cold water.
