This time, i’m coming at you with the concepts and ideas that flowed through my head in creating the remixed/enhanced Main Theme for FusionFall Legacy. • Generally, I console with the development team about how the music should sound and what my limitations are considering that I am pretty much the only member on the team that has never played the original game. Luckily, the team itself was looking for a composer that can not only re-create the style of FusionFall but enhance it to greater heights with the use of different styles, sound quality, composition, and versatility so I had a little more freedom than I thought. (Thanks guys!) • Though the goal was to encapsulate this epic remaster/redesigned image of the game, i’d be doing the veterans players a great dis-service if I didn’t match the properties at the beginning which mimic the same style, instrumentation, and melody as the original (with the exception of a little Easter Egg for the old Cartoon Network fans). Next, it was requested for me to take some ideas from dex7322’s Main Theme and merge his theme with my own which pretty much explains the next section. To add a little more nostalgia, I went back to the original melody but changed it up a bit sense I can’t stand direct repetition. • The final part is for the new and current fans of the Cartoon Network tv channel (like myself ^-^). You’ll know it when you hear it! It was the only real thing I had exclusive control over at this point. xD
