The latest MTB tire in the Schwalbe portfolio goes by the name of Albert. That's right: Schwalbe is putting an end to the iconic double names. But the Albert doesn't just break with old conventions in terms of naming, the mountain bike tire also breaks completely new ground in terms of technology. A new type of sidewall design is intended to provide significantly more grip and damping than conventional tires. • However, this is not an additional sidewall variant. Schwalbe's Gravity, Trail and DH casings are not being expanded to include an additional option. Instead, the Gravity and Trail casings for selected tires are now also available in a new, so-called radial version.
