Including what order you should make your fitting adjustments to the dressmaking pattern. • Tip 1: Make sure that you take accurate measurements. • Tip 2: Understand Ease! How much ease do you like in your garments? • Tip 3: Alternations, what order should you make these in? First adjust the length, then the curves / contours of the pattern (Full Bust Adjustment, Forwards Shoulder Adjustment, etc.), finally the width or size of the pattern. • Tip 4: You do not have to be the same size in a dressmaking pattern from the bust through to the hip.
