In this video I'm going to show you HOW TO quickly remove and change out the old, or low line on your baitcasting reel. Once the line is off the reel you can take your new line, fish it threw the rods eyes, the reels level wind, and tie it with an arbor knot (overhand knot) to the spool. When the line gets old it gets twisted from being on the spool for so long which can lead to backlashes (Bird nests) and casting problems. Your line can also go bad from uv damage (sun light) from laying on the deck of your bassboat, and break causing you to lose a bass while fishing. The best line setup I like to use and spooling on this reel is Seaguar Abrazx 17 lbs. fluorocarbon. Monofilament and co-polymer lines will spool the same way. Other good brands Berkley, P-line, Sunline, and Sufix . Bass pro also makes their own fishing line called XPS. The rod and reel is a Abu Garcia Silver Max combo. This technique will work with Lews, Shimano, 13 Fishing, Kastking shakespeare, and all the other brand reels. • Treble Hooks Split Rings How To: • [How Why] To Change Your Treble Hoo... • 00:00 Quick Way To Remove Fishing Line • 00:57 Drill Spool • 01:24 Tying The Line To The Reel Spool • 02:23 How To Tie An Arbor Knot • 02:47 Easy Way To Hold Your Spool Of Line • 03:01 Spooling the Reel • #fishing #bassfishing #fish
