I've been baking this simple Russian Plucked Cake for over ten years: It's our best recipe! This classic cake is very popular with us in the family and it always has to go to the coffee table! 😋 The cake consists of a super delicious chocolate shortcrust pastry, a creamy filling made of quark and vanilla and, of course, the delicious, crunchy crumbles made of chocolate dough! 👌🏻 • Here is the recipe on my blog to read and print out (from Sunday 10 a.m.): https://sugarprincess-juschka.blogspo... Have fun and good luck! • Yushka's Russian Plucked Cake • Ingredients for a springform pan with a diameter of 24 to 26 cm • ▶️ For the chocolate dough and the spots: • 200 g butter, cut into pieces • 150 grams of sugar • 350 grams of flour • 1 packet of baking powder • 30 g baking cocoa powder • 1 pinch of salt • 1 egg (size M) • ▶️ For the filling: • 180 g very soft butter (preferably melted and cooled!) • 200 grams of sugar • 4 eggs (size M) • 500 g quark (I always use low-fat level) • 1 tsp vanilla paste or 1 sachet vanilla sugar • 1 sachet vanilla pudding powder (or 40 g starch plus more vanilla) • ▶️Baking temperature: 175 °C top/bottom heat or 145 °C circulating air • ▶️ Baking time: 60 to 70 minutes • ▶️ Tip: If you have some shortcrust pastry left, you can bake simple cookies with it!
