This tyre is now available through Longstone Classic tyres, who also offer the excellent Michelin XAS another period tyre that will make an MGB handle far better than any modern tyres in this size. • Just out of interest here is a review that we recently received about the Pirelli Cinturato tyres fitted by a customer to his MGB: • Hi, • Many thanks for the Pirelli Centurato tyres. I had them fitted yesterday and took the MGB for a drive in the afternoon and just could not believe the difference in the handling and steering which was so much lighter and more responsive. • I had Yokohama 175 70 R14 tyres previously, as per the author of your glowing reference letter written by a previous 'anorak'/customer on your website. I must confess to being a little sceptical that the tyres could make so much difference when I read the recommendation letter before ordering the tyres, but how wrong I was. • It is a little surprising that so many suppliers provide wheel and tyre packages with similar and modern tyres to my Yokohama's, including the MGOC, that clearly are killing the feel and joy of driving an MGB. • Worth every penny, and the best investment in trying to get my MGB back to its original condition yet.
