I’ve experienced a lot of family loss in my life in the last five years,.. my brother passed away of a brain tumor, my aunt committed suicide, and my dad left when I got my first girlfriend. The queer community and the friends I’ve met since I came out took care of me when I was unable to get off of the bathroom floor. Our House is an anthem. Despite her Evangelical upbringing in Florida, Caroline's passion for songwriting in her teenage years led to embracing her queer identity in Los Angeles.
