Its time to widen my Volvo 245 Turbo

It’s time to widen the rear track width of my Volvo 245 Turbo Intercooler! • This NOS kit was sold by Volvo during the eighties and nineties to: • “Provide even better handling and fill out the wheelhouses better, giving the 200 series a sportier look!” • The kit widens the rear by 20mm per side for a total of 40mm. • And if you’ve ever studied a 240 from behind, you’ll notice that the front track width is wider, making for a somewhat awkward look from some angles. • The front track width is 1420mm while the rear is 1360mm (1350 for 242/4) for a diff of 60mm or 70mm for the 242/44! • This kit brings the difference down to “only” 20mm or 10mm per side. • This is a project for the winter when the plan is to overhaul the suspension, will be interesting to see what difference it does to the looks and handling! 🛠️ • #Volvo #Volvo240 #youtubeshorts #cars
