Making a lovely steampunk PIR sensor assembly. Then machining a 15mm gate valve to accept an encoder, so time adjustments can be made to the Chronological Engine in a suitable steampunk manner! • The clock face and electronics are complete, but won't fit through the hole in the base. Time to connect the Arduino to the laptop and program it so I can calibrate the hour and minute hands. • Now to fix the clock face into the glass and Ikea clock body without getting specks of feculence trapped inside - easier said than done. Six attempts later... • Finally time to start fixing the exciting clock components onto the lovely polished wooden base. But I scratched it, so another coat of polish. • The clock's fixed to the base and looks beautiful, now to sort out the miriad lengths of copper pipe and plumbing fittings, and of course making the coil of copper pipe - every self respecting steampunk machine requires one! • As always I'm very happy to provide help and support to other steampunk devotees who want to build their own amazing machines - just post questions in the comments. • More information on all my steampunk machines can be found on my website at https://steamhead.co.uk/
