At this point in between Hampden Park and Pevensey and Westham on the East Coastway line, trains to Ashford International split off onto the Hastings branch line here at Willingdon Junction! Despite it being quite windy on a June afternoon, Jordan and Fitzherbert film new 3 car unit 171 808 heading to Ashford International over the junction, which they haven't filmed at all in any video they have made! Before the usual 'Thanks for watching and subscribe' ending, Fitzherbert claimed that 171 808 was 171 722 in the old days when all Class 171 DMUs had 2 or 4 carriages, but not all of them have 3 nowadays! Just over 2 months ago at Ore, Fitzherbert also claimed that 171 810 was 171 724 at Ore! Can we be sure if he's right or not? • Timestamps: • 0:00 - Introduction • 0:35 - Class 171 DMU to Ashford visible at Hampden Park Station • 1:28 - 171 808 to Ashford International approaching and traversing the junction • 2:14 - Outro
