Hamster Cage Review • Today’s video is following up from my previous video. I want to share with you some alternatives to the typical pet shop cages, and show you that there are some great hamster cages online (if you search around a bit). For this video, I reviewed the Alexander cage from ZooPlus. • Currently on ZooPlus the cage costs £99.99, though I bought the cage for about £69.99 because they regularly have deals on their cages. You can get the cage cheaper from this website: • http://little.holmesstorehouse.co.uk/... • I have had this cage in my attic for a few years (as I used it for a previous hamster) so I thought I would film a review of the cage. This cage is definitely approved by Pingu! As soon as I put him in here to demonstrate, he was having a great time exploring, and even built a nest! Overall I think it is a great accommodation, and ticks all the boxes! • Pingu doesn’t really use all the space in the detolf, as when he is awake, he spends almost all his time running on his wheel. I am considering keeping him here; it suits his needs really well and I think he much prefers it. The ventilation is so much better - I was never able to create a well ventilated lid for the detolf because we have a cat who always sits on top of the lid, and could easily break through the mesh. It is also really good for interacting with your hamster - the two doors at the side are great for taming as approaching from from lower down makes them feel much more comfortable (whereas accessing from above can mimic a predator).
