Van Damme talks about a future movie project with Michel Qissi. • INFO: • The Moscow Times • (03 June 2013) • A football stadium considered one of the largest in Europe and founded by Forbes billionaire Salavat Karimov was unveiled in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, on Saturday. • The Anzhi stadium was built for the team of the same name. Karimov, whose wealth is estimated at $7.1 billion, owns the Anzhi football club. • The stadium opening was marked by a show featuring American pop singer Cher and the '80s action star Jean Claude Van Damme, Rossia 1 reported Saturday. • The stadium, which can accommodate up to 30,000 fans, cost 34 billion rubles to build and can host top football class championships in the North Caucasus republic. • Its construction was controversial in the republic, one of the poorest in the country.
