How to get custom splashes in Minecraft! • There is a written tutorial at the bottom of the description. • NOTE: This tutorial is designed for iOS. Programs used are the files app, safari app, and Minecraft. In the future I might make a tutorial for windows. • Resources: • https://www.mediafire.com/file/g2eih9... • Written tutorial: • [1] Download the resource pack from above and click save. In the top right of the browser there is a download button. Press it, then press share and save to your files. Save it to Minecraft/game/com.mojang/development_resource_packs. NOTE: You will have to press it to unzip it. • [2] Load up the manifest file within the file you just saved in https://texteditor.co ; press open file from computer/device. • [3] Edit the description and title. These will show up in-game. • [4 - OPTIONAL] To change pack icon, get a png and add it to files with name pack_icon in the same folder. If a proper png, it should come up with a screen asking you if you want to replace the image. Click replace. • Note: usually if you save it from photos like I did it won't work. Save it like the text files. If it is a JPEG, JPG or IMG, you can convert to png using the respective tab in https://www.freeconvert.com/ • [5] Edit the two UUIDs. Do this by going to https://uuidgenerator.net and copy/paste. Do this with the one further down as well. (Refresh to get a new one) • [6] Save this back into that folder. Remove any numbers that come up (eg manifest 2, change to simply manifest). Press replace when it asks you what you’d like to do. • [7] Open up the “splashes” file the same way as you did before. Edit the splashes to whatever you’d like to show up. • NOTE: Missing commas will cause it to break. Add a comma on each line except for the last. If you add a comma on the last line it will not work. • ⚠️If it still doesn’t work copy paste the text into https://jsonlint.com • [8] Refresh Minecraft, and then load up settings/global resources. Your splashes will now load the next time you load up! (I didn't show this in the video, but you will have to add it to global resources) • If you have any issues, please tell me in the comments and I will try to help as best as I can. • Subscribe for more iOS coding tutorials! If you have more ideas in the comments please tell me and I will try as best as I can. • New video on September 22nd. I will hint the theme in my community tab.
