Plenty of day trips are available from Mostar or Dubrovnik (Croatia) to explore the beautiful Herzegovina region. The most refreshing one for those searching for a break from the torching summer weather is surely visiting the Kravice/Kravica waterfall. This nature jewel of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a large tufa cascade on the Trebižat River with a 28 meter (90 ft) fall and a 120-meter radius lake at the bottom. The park is open from 7 a.m to 10 p.m during the summer months and swimming is allowed. Restaurants, picnic areas, boat tours and kayak rentals are available in the park.
