Alone and yet together! On 26-28 June 2020, the running team of the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) participated in the annual NCT Run, the charity event for the fight against cancer. This year, the run was organized as a virtual three-day-event. For the 34-strong team “The HITSters” there was a particularly good reason this year to take their slogan “Run beyond the limits!” seriously: On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Klaus Tschira Foundation decided to generously sponsor each kilometer run by a member of HITS with 25 € and donate the whole amount to the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT).
