The project will start from the CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite and end at the SLEX-Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna. Rosa-Tagaytay Interchange to Laguna Boulevard Interchange • 2.34 • 7 • Laguna Boulevard Interchange to Laguna Technopark Interchange • 3.30 • 8 • Laguna Technopark Interchange to Mamplasan Toll Barrier • 3.46 • • PPP Scheme: Build-Transfer-Operate • -Private sector to finance, construct, operate and maintain the entire expressway. • Concession Period: 35 years (including 5 years design and construction) • Start of Concession Period: July 10, 2015 (TCA Signing Date) • • • Right of Way: • 60 meters, except for Laguna Techno Park Laguna Boulevard (40 meters), and Greenfield Development Corporation (50 meters). • Interchanges: • 8 interchanges and 1 toll barrierr • Bridges: • 3,575 meters inclusive of 444 meters of viaduct • • Project Objectives: • This project aims to: • · Support national development policy and provide efficient transport facilities for the Eco-zones in Cavite and Laguna. • · Reduce traffic congestion particularly in Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway and Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road which are heavily congested. • · Improve competitiveness of Region IV-A/CALABARZON as an investment destination. • • Project Benefits: • At the end of construction, the project is expected to: • Reduce travel time from CAVITEX (Kawit) to SLEX (Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna) from 2 hours to 35 minutes (70% reduction). • Project Concessionaire: • MPCALA Holdings Inc. • Project Cost: • Activities • Amount (Billion) • Civil Works • P 25.425 • Right-of-Way • P 10.201 • Independent Consultant (50%) • P 0.112 • Total • P 35.738 • Project Status: • Right-of-Way Acquisition (ROWA) accomplishment (actual site possession) • Ø Laguna Side : 100.00% • Ø Cavite Side : 66.77% • Subsections 8, 7 and 6 (Sta. Rosa to Mamplasan) were partially opened to traffic on October 30, 2019. • Toll Operation Permit (TOP) was issued last February 7, 2020 for Subsections 8, 7 and 6. • Toll Operation Permit (TOP) was issued last June 18, 2021 for Subsection5
