Each teacup holds up to 5 people. As the ride starts, the cups spin atop 3 separate turntables, which are mounted on one larger turntable. It’s a crazy contraption you’d half expect to find somewhere in Wonderland! • The Mad Tea Party ride is inspired by the Mad Hatter’s party sequence in Walt Disney’s animated movie Alice in Wonderland. Featuring the same colors, crazy architectural flourishes and objects of disproportionate size as seen in the movie, this attraction puts you in the middle of all the action.
