Honest Review of Zostel Banikhet Stay

#zostel #hostel #honestreview #himachalpradesh • My detailed review: Initially I was so excited to stay in this Zostel but as soon as I checked in, I was welcomed with an expensive food menu, and the first thing I ordered was Mix paratha which was super oily and not great at taste. • Then I got the 4-bed dorm in which the washroom sliding door was jammed and not working properly, I had to put so much effort just to open and close the washroom door. Totally inconvenient. • On the 1st day, there were so many flies, mosquitos, and later when I complained they sprayed Hit and which filled the room with a bad odor. Also, the washroom sink was leaking and there was a bad smell in the toilet. • The manager and staff were kind but the service was not good. Even the single bunk bed dorm cost was more than 700 rs per person which makes it tough for a backpacker. • The best part of this Zostel Banikhet was its location, view, and swimming pool. • I spent more than 4700 rs. for dorm room and food in just 3 nights. It's the most expensive hostel stay I ever had to stay in the dorm room. Zostel Dalhousie which is 45 mins away from this Banikhet hostel is a better alternative. I left with dissatisfaction and disappointment due to the overall experience. • I do not recommend staying here for more than 1 night. Even when you are staying here for 1 night, come with a group and never stay here as a solo traveler. • Food drinks: It's super costly and nearby there are no options so be prepared to shell out a lot of money. Also for solo travellers, this hostel is not good, since the food is expensive and the quantity is too much so you end up overeating or wasting a lot of food.
