This is a retro disco style song you would hear in the 80's • Imagine a love song for a line of cars that no longer exist. • I don't have first hand experience with the Yugo but I find the story behind the car fascinating. • The Yugo, a subcompact car manufactured by Zastava Automobiles, was first sold in the United States in 1985, where it remained on the market until 1992. Marketed for its affordability, the Yugo was introduced at a price of $3,990 and achieved its highest sales in 1987 with 48,812 units sold. Despite its initial popularity, the Yugo is often remembered for its design and reliability issues. It was based on the older Fiat models, specifically the Fiat 127, and was originally designed in Italy before production shifted to Yugoslavia.
