This video discusses how to play '.Wav' music files from a USB thumb drive connected to the front of the XR12 or XR16 mixer interface, so you don't have to sacrifice 2 of your channels for house music on the smaller units. • *Note to XR18 owners; the larger XR18 unit has channel 17/18 as physical 'line-in' inputs on the front of the unit instead of the USB thumb-drive opition. • *Note 2; Music audio files need to be in Wav CD format - 44100Hz sample rate, and 16-bit depth quality. You'll see this as a standard option when changing your conversion settings in iTunes or any other common music file/library Application. • *Note 3; The USB Thumb drive you use needs to be formatted as FAT or FAT32, see the help article from Behringer at the link below if you need help with this, but be sure to back up any precious files on your USB thumb drive elsewhere before reformatting it, as it will be completely wiped during the process!!: • https://music-group.force.com/musickb... • The Behringer XAir app works on Windows 7 or later, Mac OSX, iOS (iPads/iPhones) and Android operating systems and can be downloaded from the link below for Windows/Mac machines or via the App Store on iOS and Google Play Store on android devices: • https://www.musictri.be/Categories/Be... • To view other instructional and professional development videos by Music EDnet for Music Teachers and individuals that are not included on our YouTube channel, please visit our EDnet TV page at the link below: • http://www.musicednet.com/ednettv • *Please note; EDnet Hub membership includes full access to all EDnet TV content featured at the above link: • http://www.musicednet.com/EDnethub • If you'd like to discuss the purchase and customised assembly of a similar Mobile PA rack/digital mixer combo for your school or your own needs, or any other audio/video music technology requirements, please contact Music Education Network via the options below: • Australia: 1300 723 700 • New Zealand: 0800 141 474 • Email: [email protected] • More info on PA and live sound equipment from Music Education Network can be found here: • https://www.musicednet.com/PA
