Please subscribe! - http://bit.ly/PetePeppers • For All Mankind season 2 episode 5 has been released on Apple TV+. We pick up with Tracy (Sarah Jones) arriving at Jamestown Base. She’s a public figure and a well known astronaut, which isolates her from the other people stationed there. She’s being interviewed by Johnny Carson on the one hand, and not being able to sleep on the other. Things come to a head when she blocks her air vent which causes an alarm, and her commander realizes she’s drunk. • In episode 5 Karen (Shantel VanSanten) and Kelly get word that Ed’s (Joel Kinnaman) plane went down over the ocean. He gets home okay, but Karen doesn’t deal with the situation well. She remains distant for the remainder of the episode, and we see her have another heart to heart with Danny Stevens. • Gordo Stevens (Michael Dorman) looks determined to get himself together after he avoids punishment for the dogfight. We see he’s still having trouble with his helmet, but he’s trying different exercises at home to deal with it. His kids have noticed he’s acting different, and are supportive. • Episode 5 sees Ellen (Jodi Balfour) and Pam reunited at a poetry reading. Pam is in a public relationship with her partner, but still makes plans to have a drink at the Outpost with Ellen. When they’re about to say goodnight they decide instead to go home together. • Aleida shows up for her first day at work for NASA at JSC. She’s excited about the opportunity, but reluctant to tell coworkers about her background. She’s assigned to the Apollo-Soyuz project that will send Dani up to do the handshake in space.
