Learn how artificial intelligence has the potential to transform scientists’ understanding of health and disease. CZI co-founders Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg share how AI can unlock new understanding of cellular interactions, helping scientists make progress on curing, preventing or managing all diseases by the end of the century. To accelerate progress, we’re building one of the world’s largest computing clusters dedicated to non-profit life science research, and we’ll use it to build digital models that can predict the behavior of any cell type in the human body and how it may respond to different conditions in health and disease. • At CZI, we've been working towards this moment. For years, we have supported scientists to create standardized datasets at single-cell resolution, and we’ve built open source tools to help researchers make the most of these datasets. Now, building on our learnings, we will provide the scientific community with access to predictive models of healthy and diseased cells. • • Social Media • Facebook • / chanzuckerberginitiative • Instagram • / chanzuckerberginitiative • Twitter • / chanzuckerberg • Linkedin • / chan-zuckerberg-initiative • Subscribe to the CZI's YouTube Channel • / chanzuckerberginitiative • • About The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative: • The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is a new kind of philanthropy that’s leveraging technology, community-driven solutions, and collaboration to help solve some of the world’s toughest challenges — from eradicating disease, to improving education, to addressing the needs of our communities. • • Learn More: https://chanzuckerberg.com/
