Today I’ll be walking you through my mammogram appointment so you'll know exactly what to expect for yours. • My name is Chelsey, thank you for being here. I am using this channel to share my experiences through breast cancer treatment with the goal of helping others in some way. • In my area, mammograms are one of the main diagnostic screenings that help detect breast cancer early. Here they are recommended for women starting at 40 years of age. • In my experience, screenings provide much anxious anticipation on their own and the added factor of not knowing what to expect, or if it will hurt doesn't help.
