Miss G is the • trainer of the swim team and all the girls of the team find her and her stories • fascinating. Di is the best of them, which made her very arrogant. Until one • day the new girl from Spain arrives. She's not even much better in high • diving, but more mature and perfect in almost everything. The girls see how • Miss G gets more and more fascinated by Fiamma, this fascination turns into • obsession. The others, especially Di, become very jealous of her since all of • Miss G's attention is drawn away, they go crazy and want to get rid of her. • Fiamma on the other hand is scared of Miss G, tries to show her the cold • shoulder and ignore her as good as she can. • Until one night the girls have a feast in their room and Fiamma passes out • drunk. Miss G takes her to her room, kisses an carresses her. Di sees this • happening and believes it's a lot of what Fiamma actually wanted, not Miss • G's crazy obsession. She blames her, especially after they see Miss G and • Fiamma fight. The girls confront Fiamma about Miss G's breakdown • afterwards, chasing her through the woods, hitting her and causing her to • have an asthma attack. • Miss G watched all this happening and suddenly appears after most of the • others go to get help for Fiamma. She stays with her. As Fiamma reaches for • her inhaler, but Miss G keeps her from reaching it. She watches her choke to • death only to put the inhaler back into her hand as Di arrives and sees her • doing so. Finally Di sees whom the person she adored really is, a broken • cruel figure. In the very end (that I included only shortly in the first part of the vid), all of • the girls turn against Miss G, after finally seeing her true self. • Note: • I made this video for the first challenge of BOIT. We had to use only one • effect (next to some basic effects that were allowed). I chose velocity as my • effect. I thought at first I wanted to use something else, but I just can't make • a decent vid without changing the pace of the clips. It was hard since • recently I was more inspired for AU videos that are FULL of effects apparently • (masking, cookie cutter, colouring). I don't use many effects, but apparently I • still use many lol • I rewatched the movie recently and LOVED it. I especially liked how the characters developed, especially Miss G and Di, who almost turned 180° in their appearance and perspective. • While watching it I thought about a song I could vid it with and somehow came to the conclusion that the beginning of El Tango de Roxanne from the Moulin Rouge movie works perfectly. I didn't wanna include anything of the singing though cause the lyrics don't work with the movie.
