The Old Gods worshipped before Christ by the Anglo-Saxons, roughly from about 2000 BC (before their tribal identity was solidified to be fair) to the early 1000s AD when the last pagan witches and wizards disappeared. Thunor took precedence before Odin took over, probably after 600 AD and possibly only in the Norse and Germanic pantheon in the first place, some think Thunor was always more important to the Anglo-Saxons and remained so, as they loved war above the wisdom that Snorri so admired later on. • Credits to CL for the great splash artwork!
