The seats in Mercedes-Benz W211 models can come equipped with many features. For example the front seats can be equipped with seat heat, seat ventilation, air-lumbar supports and massaging backrests. The seat switches are located on the door panel, controlling front seat movement via a control module. The front seats also have an airbag built into the backrest. When servicing the front seats, be sure to work with the battery disconnected. • The rear seats can have split folding cushions and backrests. Along with a center armrest tunnel and a ski bag. The rear seat cushions can be removed quite easily. Then the folding bracket can be replaced is needed. The rear backrest folds down flat, for transporting large items.
