In this video we show a 1 to 1 football training session: focusing on a warm-up, shooting, passing, link play, and a cool-down, • Total Duration: 1 hour • 1. Warm-Up (5 minutes) • Objective: Prepare the body for physical activity and prevent injuries. • Jogging: Light jogging around the field for 2 minutes. • Dynamic Stretches: Perform dynamic stretches such as leg swings, arm circles, and hip rotations for 3 minutes. • 2. Shooting Drill (15 minutes) • Objective: Improve shooting accuracy and power. • Activity: Set up cones or markers to create a small goal area. • Drill: • The player starts 10-15 yards from the goal. • The coach feeds the ball to the player, who then takes a touch and shoots at the goal. • Focus on shooting with both feet. • Coaching Points: • Encourage proper technique: head over the ball, striking with the laces, and follow through. • Provide immediate feedback and corrections. • 3. Passing Drill (10 minutes) • Objective:Enhance passing accuracy and technique. • Activity:Set up a series of cones to create passing lanes. • Drill: • The coach and player pass the ball back and forth through the cones. • Introduce different types of passes: inside of the foot, outside of the foot, and driven passes. • Coaching Points: • Emphasize proper body positioning and follow-through. • Encourage quick and accurate passes. • 4. Link Play Drill (15 minutes) • Objective: Develop the ability to link play between midfield and attack. • Activity: Create a small grid with cones, simulating a midfield and attacking area. • Drill: • The coach plays the ball to the player in the midfield area. • The player controls the ball, looks up, and passes to the attacking area, where they then run to receive the ball back for a shot on goal. • Rotate roles to work on both receiving and passing. • Coaching Points: • Focus on first touch and vision to find the next pass. • Encourage quick movement and decision-making. • 5. One-on-One Session with Coach (10 minutes) • Objective: Address specific skills and areas for improvement. • Activity: Tailor this segment to the player's needs based on previous observations. • Drill Options: • Dribbling: Set up cones for dribbling drills to improve close control and agility. • Defensive Skills: Practice tackling and positioning. • Ball Control: Work on trapping and controlling high balls. • Coaching Points: • Provide personalized feedback and encouragement. • Focus on individual technique and skill development. • 6.
