After a mammoth 12 hour tour of the Highlands, we returned to our base Edinburgh around 8.30 pm. The tour of Lochness, Fort Williams Glencoe is supposedly the longest bus tour in Europe, but we were NOT exhausted! Driven by curiosity and simply the love for walking, we began wandering through the streets of Edinburgh - Cockburn St, Cowgate, Grassmarket, High St and more.
