How to replace the air filter on FG4H2272UF: • The air filter is located in the top of the fresh food compartment. • To ensure optimal filtering of refrigerator odors, change the air filter every six months (Replace Air Filter on the Display indicates replacing the filter after 6 months) • 1) Remove air filter cover by squeezing the top and bottom of the cover together and removing from liner • 2) Remove the old filter and discard it • 3) Unpack the new filter and snap it into the filter cover. The open face (carbon media) of the filter should be installed facing outward in the cover • 4) Replace the air filter cover by squeezing the sides and snapping it back into place • 5) Press and hold the “Reset Air Filter” button on the Display for 3 seconds.
