In this video, I examine an often overlooked campaign of the American Civil War. After Virginia seceded from the Union, West Virginia seceded from Virginia and set the first campaign of the war into motion. This campaign saw the command debut of George B. McClellan, William S. Rosecrans, and Robert E. Lee.
