In the chilled highland of Oukaimeden, lays thousands and thousands of fresh untouched blocks. In this shady valley, campers carved out a winter-snow lifestyle of skiing and trailing that went along with the local’s habits. Regrettably, the snow lasts only for a few months and the rest of the year, this valley lives only with dozens of weekends passing-by or stargazers. The documentary :“Oukaimeden : The Highland Boulders”, displays the beauty and the majesty of one of the highest bouldering spots in North Africa. This unseen face of Oukaimeden is more known internationally, where climbers from all over the world come to explore this spot and reveal its blocks. Through the event “ Imiksimik”, Jbel Collective will tell you the story of this place, the vibes that roam around and the possibilities that climbing can offer to this place. • --- FR --- • Dans le plateau froid d’Oukaimden, des milliers et milliers de blocs frais et intact sont répandus partout. Dans cette vallée, les visiteurs ont sculpté une fréquentation en lien qu’avec le ski et la neige. Mais malheuresement, la neige ne dûre que quelques mois et le reste de la saison les locaux ainsi que le village ne vit qu’avec quelques visiteurs pendant le weekend. Le documentaire: “Oukaimden : Le Plateau des Blocs”, expose la beauté et la majesté d’un des plus haut spot de bouldering en nord d’Afrique, qui cilmune jusqu’a +2600m. Ce visage invisible d’Oukaimden est plus connu à l’international, des grimpeurs y viennent d’un peu partout, afin d’explorer ce spot et dévoiler ces blocs.
