Soak rice cakes in a bowl of cold water. • 2. Cut sausage in cross cross pattern. • 3. Add oil to a pan, and stir fry sausage for about 2 minutes on medium to high heat. • 4. Add marinara sauce and heavy whipping cream into the pan, and cook until the sauce thickens. • 5. Add in water and capsaicin to the pan and stir until combined. • 6. Bring heat to medium, and add rice cakes into the pan, and cook until desired texture of rice cakes (al dente is about 2-3 minutes). • 7. Add salt and pepper to taste. • 8. Top with cheese and sprinkle parsley flakes. • 9. Plate, and enjoy!
