This is the start of a potential new series called Concept Bits , where I re-imagine an existing 8-bit song into another. For this one, I was inspired by the recent Mario Maker direct where an athletic theme for SMB1 was revealed. • Plus, if Mario Maker 2 gets a SMB2 template and new assets, we might see an official version of this song.
