Before arriving in Cole Assembly Room to deliver a speech to students, faculty and staff, Aatish Taseer ’03 stopped by Alumni House to answer questions about his work as a journalist and an author of fiction and nonfiction. He discusses the travels from Istanbul to Mecca to Pakistan that became the basis for his first book, Stranger to History: A Son’s Journey Through Islamic Lands, as well as the journey of self-discovery that became The Twice Born: Life and Death on the Ganges, to be published in March by Farrar, Straus and Giroux.
