In this video, Jules and I review the original Leica CL which was first introduced in 1973 but already discontinued only three years later. Despite being a Leica, the camera was made in Japan and created in collaboration with Minolta. The camera is also the cheapest way to get into the M-mount system but it comes with a couple of shortcomings. • We've tested the camera during photo walk in Munich and Salzburg. Let's take a closer look and see whether we would recommend it. • Equipment: • Leica CL with • 40mm Voigtländer Nokton f/1.4 • Films used: • Kodak T-Max 400 • Fujicolor 400 • Dev Scan: • http://www.meinfilmlab.de • If you'd like to get in touch or see some early behind the scenes footage, find me on Instagram: / analog_insights
