Hi guys! • I am back once more with another delicious recipe for you! • This time it is my all time favourite dessert BUDIN Salvadoreño!! I am super excited to share this recipe with you since it was passed down from my grandmother to my mother and now to me! Hope you enjoy this bread pudding which is also Mamallena´s long lost cousin! haha. • Some tips I have for you are: • 1. I used sweet condensed milk in this recipe but you could also use sugar instead. • 2. I used evaporated milk but you could also use whole milk too. I have never tried using nut milk BUT I believe it could work as well. Although I would definitely do a taste test first before serving just in case the milk has overpowered the other flavours. • 3. As I mentioned in the video, I used gala apples for this recipe but you can use granny smith, red delicious, golden delicious etc. • 4. I also mention in the video that the chunks of bananas will turn purple when being baked. So not to worry about that. It is completely natural. • The ingredients I used today were: • 1 full loaf / family size bread ( 12 slices needed) • 1 Lt of evaporated milk (roughly 4 cups) • 2 medium eggs. • 1/2 a stick of melted butter. • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. • 1/2 cup of raisins. • 1 large banana. • 1 medium size apple. • 1 tsp of baking powder. • 1 cup of sweet condensed milk. • oven temp: 180C/356F • oven time: 45-50 mins • I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did making it for you!
