It’s also famous for the glass-bottom boat tours that take you over the crystal clear waters of the many springs and past the remnants of historic sites. The Wild Waters Water Park also is one of the popular attractions at Silver Springs State Park. • The Park’s Campground has 59 single-family campsites which can accommodate tents, trailers and RV’s. Nine cabins are also available to rent. All campsites have electric hookups and 12 have full hookups. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Our favorite campsites are 4, 6, 9, 15, 17, 21, 22, 30, 34, 37, 47, 48, 51 and 52. • Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, and laundry. There’s also a visitor center, boat ramp, water park and day-use/picnic area at the Park.
