Hiking the Oregon Dunes amp Sightseeing Around Reedsport OR

In this video, I take you along on a morning hike into the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. We hike from the John Kellenback Trailhead through a patch of coastal forest and out onto the sand dunes. • This patch of dunes is pretty well untouched by ATV tracks and has one rather towering sand dune. I hike to the top and give you a 360 view of the remarkable terrain. • After the dune hike, we visit a Highway 101 wayside viewpoint for an overlook at the coastline below, then drive down along Umpqua Beach. • There I show a dune ATV staging area and some of the ocean beach.
