SEBI for the purpose of reducing the administrative burden of pending proceedings relating to trading in illiquid stock options, issued a public notice on 27th July, 2020 for introduction of Settlement Scheme, 2020. Pursuant to the scheme a one-time settlement opportunity is being provided to entities involved in dealing of illiquid stock options during the period from 1st April, 2014 to 30th September, 2015.
