Kettlebell snatch

The kettlebell snatch is a progression or variation to the barbell snatch. This exercise works lower body power, specifically through the hips and legs. Grip a kettlebell with one hand and the kettlebell in front of the body. Dip at the knees and hips and explode up vertically toward the ceiling. When power is generated through the lower body, the kettlebell will project up toward the ceiling. In one fluid motion with minimal to no use of the arms, receive the kettlebell overhead with the arm extended and kettlebell resting on the back of the wrist. As the kettlebell extends over the head, push through the kettlebell to make a smoother transition to the receiving position.
