We're talking some more about CPMs in paid media. Is a lower CPM better than a higher CPM? The answer is No in most cases. On Meta, why would a $45 CPM do better than a $3 CPM? A lot of the pricing on Meta is determined by three factors. The first factor is the objective of the campaign: Are you looking for leads and sales, clicks, impressions, etc.? The second factor is how broad or narrow your audience is. If it's broad, your CPMs are going to be lower. Finally, Meta gives you value add in the form of lower CPM if your ads resonate with the users on Meta -- e.g., they like, comment, and share. If you're seeing that your paid media CPMs are ridiculously high compared to how they were in the past, maybe consider that your audience doesn't like your message. • Brill Media: White-label media buying for agencies. https://www.brillmedia.co/agencies.
