The Wright School in Durham helps emotionally distressed students. • Each year the Wright School averages over 60 students age six to twelve who come through the Re-Ed-residential program. • The search for mental health services for children in North Carolina is often difficult. Shortages of child psychiatrists and few treatment options for younger children can leave many families devastated with the harsh realities of no place to turn for help, but parents say there is a bright spot for some children.
