This is the Little Wattlebird Calling (Anthochaera chrysoptera) calling/singing in my backyard. What do you think of it's unusual song? To me they are the jazz musicians of the bird world (note the second song at about 0:28) . • The Little wattlebird is also known as the Brush Wattlebird and is one of our larger honeyeaters. However, of the three Australian honeyeaters known as wattlebirds, this one is the smallest. (26cm - 30cm) It is found in south-eastern and south-western Australia as well as here in Tasmania. It's main food source is nectar which it extracts with its brush-like tongue. It will also feed on insects, berries, and some seeds
