According to Minister for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa, the Karnataka government has decided to remove courses on RSS founder Hedgewar and Hindutva ideology VD Savarkar from the present curriculum. Instead of producing new textbooks, the Cabinet has also agreed to give supplemental pamphlets to all schools.
