Bhaja Muger Daal is a Bong version of Vegan Lentil Soup prepared with neither Onion nor Garlic. Try this simple and delicious dal at home and post your comments below. • INGREDIENTS • 1 cup moong dal • 1 tsp cumin seeds • 1 tsp ginger paste • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coconut • ½ tsp turmeric powder • ½ tsp chilli powder • 2 tbsp ghee • ½ tsp cumin seed powder • 3-4 green chillies • ¼ cup fresh green peas • 3 tbsp mustard oil • Sugar to taste • Salt to taste • METHOD: • Wash the dal and let it dry • Dry roast the dal in a pan till golden brown • Add 2 cups of water and cook till done • Heat mustard oil add the cumin seeds, ginger paste, chilli and turmeric powder • Add the dal and cook and green peas and the chillies.
