I will show how to download the Global firmware and install it into your AX3600 Router in detail. The new Global firmware supports multiple languages Including English, Italian, French, Deutsch, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, and so on. The Global Firmware also supports mesh and is compatible with other Xiaomi Wi-Fi 6 routers such as Mi AX1800, Redmi AX5, AX6. I will set up a Mesh with the Redmi AX6 in the video. I will also perform a speed test to check if there is any difference in the performance compared to the Chinese Firmware. • 🙏Important Notes: • 1. The Chinese Firmware may have stronger Wi-Fi Signal strength than the Global Firmware. This is due to the EU and other country's signal strength regulations. Please note that! • 2. I do not have the Global Firmware of Mi AX1800, Redmi AX5 and AX6 yet. If I get it, I will share it. • 3. Setting China as the Region: If you are upgrading the router from the Chinese Firmware, then even after the upgrade to the Global Firmware, the Region will still be China as the router did not reset. However, if you reset the router, you cannot select China as a Region when you are setting it up as a new router. So, if you need your router to be in the Chinese Region, make sure that you do not reset it. If you reset, one solution is to reinstall the Chinese FW and set it up, and then upgrade to the Global FW. • 4. Even if you select China as the region on the Global FW, the Signal Strength may not be the same as the Chinese FW. • 5.
