Milla the Amur tiger hunts down a pigeon at Marwell Zoo in Hampshire. Warning to all pigeons of Hampshire: If you fancy a day out at the zoo avoid flying into the tiger enclosure! Footage taken by Natasha Jefferies. Amur tigers are classified as endangered by IUCN. There are just 300-400 individuals in the wild. The combined wild population of all subspecies of tiger is estimated at only 3,000 animals. Visit Marwell Zoo (owned and operated by registered conservation charity Marwell Wildlife) to see our tigers and an incredible range of exotic and endangered species in 140 acres of beautiful Hampshire parkland.
